Hello friends,  this is Sim  Jan Tedford coming to you from the grave as my ghost is no longer visible in the real Sim world.  Since the real Jan hadn't planned to write stories but play just for fun (she's still having fun), there aren't many pictures to share of our lives but I have now been given the permission to write a summary of the life my hubby, Grant and I had during our lifetime living in Windenburg, raising four lovely children to have successful lives, while completing our lifetime aspirations and/or careers.

After being on sabbatical for several months, Grant and I decided to settle down to focus on our dreams and raising a family of our own.  We purchased a home in the countryside of Windenburg and over the years to suit the needs of our growing family.  Grant decided to pursue his dream of becoming a 'Nerd Brain' and reach the top of the 'Tech Guru' career while my dream was to have a 'Successful Lineage'.  To help with finances, I reopened 'Valley Ventures Bakery & Cafe' and ran the business while raising our four children.  Shortly after adopting our fourth child, I sold the cafe to all me to spend more time with my family at home:  gardening and making sure everyone was taken care of.   Now let me introduce our wonderful children who are now grown up and living successful lives.

Within our first year of moving to Windenburg our eldest daughter, Anika was born with dark brown hair like her mother.  She was a challenging child with a rebellious (aka evil) streak in her but she and I always had a close relationship.   When she grew into a teenager, Anika thought she wanted to become a 'public enemy' but later changed her mind to becoming 'Fabulously Wealthy'  which was obtained almost instantaneously as by then our family had come into a lot of cash after selling Valley Ventures Bakery.  She then put in a lot of hard work in the political career and is now the National Leader of the Sim World.  By purchasing the 'Incredibly Friendly' aspiration reward trait, Anika has been able to keep her evil side in check most of the time and has many friends due to her top charisma skills.  Anika will tell her more about her life as an adult as each of our children will share the stories of their lives in generation two.

This is Jaden pampering one of his cats, FaeFae on the couch.  She was the last pet he needed to 'Feel the Love' in the last part of his 'Friend of the Animals' aspiration.

After Anika started grade school, I gave birth to our first son, Jaden who grew up with a love for pets in general and decided that he wanted to become a lifetime 'Friend of the Animal' and became a  fully skilled veterinarian after graduating from high school by running his own practice.  Jaden will tell you more about that as Mr Grim came for me shortly after he started his career as well as the time he was abducted by aliens and a few days later gave birth to our first grandchild, an alien baby boy by the name of Louis.  When his turn comes to tell his story, Jaden will fill you in on the long journey and hours spent with his pets to complete his aspiration.

This is our eldest grandson, Louis who is an alien under his disguise.

Since my real self was adopted at a young age and raised in a loving home as opposed to growing up on the streets, Grant and I decided help other children who needed a loving family.  After Jaden started school, we adopted a young newborn who lost his mother shortly after he born due to complications but not before she named him, Jonathan.  Jonathan had a happy childhood and grew up to complete his childhood aspiration and as a young adult reached the top of the music division of the Entertainment career and completed his lifetime aspiration of becoming a 'Musical Genius'.  Adoption seems to have become a prominent theme in the family as Jonathan also raised two daughters, Hayden and Raven.  Hayden is now pursuing a career as an astronaut while becoming a 'Curator'.

Last but not least,  we have our second adopted child, Emilia who must have had a rough early life as she came to us with an 'evil' trait which after a loving upbringing by Grant and I has been softened (also with the 'incredibly friendly' reward) since she got into writing novels and becoming a 'Bestselling Author'.  She now has her own home with adopted children, Theo and Olive.   The only grandchildren I haven't met as a ghost are Olive and Anika's recently adopted son, Terence.

In closing Sim Grant and I are proud of our children and the successful lives they've made for themselves.   Jaden still lives in the family, which was moved to Brindleton Bay while Anika lives in the city and Emilia used her inheritance and royalty earnings to build a home in Newcrest.  Jonathan stayed closer to his homestead by building a home on an empty lot just down the road from Jaden.
